Routine Care
For regular cleaning of Atlas Plan tiles, we suggest starting by dusting them with a clean, dry cloth. Next, use a neutral detergent designed for stoneware surfaces, which is commonly available in most supermarkets. To prevent the need for special cleaning, be sure to remove any stains immediately before they have a chance to dry.

Stubborn Stains
For stains that cannot be removed by routine cleaning, a suitable detergent for the particular type of stain is recommended. It is essential to clean stains promptly to ensure they are removed completely. Before applying a product to the whole surface, it is recommended that you test it first on a small section of the stain to make sure it’s suitable. Do not use concentrated hydrochloric acid and/or caustic soda, or any cleaning agent containing hydrofluoric acid and/or its derivatives, under any circumstances.

- Caesarstone Porcelain
What products to avoid in protecting porcelain?
Do not use hydrofluoric acid or materials containing it.
Avoid products containing oils as they may leave a residue. You should rinse all products thoroughly.
If the surface comes into contact with any products that might damage it, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
Check each cleaning product on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn’t damage the surface.
- Caesarstone Porcelain
Are Porcelain surfaces hygienic?
Your surface is engineered to be highly nonporous; as such, it is non-absorbent and does not host bacteria, mould, or mildew. As a result, it remains safe and fresh for ultimate cleanliness.
- Caesarstone Porcelain
Which cleaning products are suitable for porcelain?
Use your regular home cleaning products and check the product first by applying it to an inconspicuous area on the surface. It’s best to avoid using the same cloth you use for washing dishes, as it may transfer oils and other contaminants to your surface.
Cleaning for Porcelain finishes
Honed and Ultra Rough finishes are more prone to metal marks, fingerprints, and other signs of daily use, which can easily be removed with non-abrasive cleaning products.
- Cimstone
Daily Cleaning
Apply a multi-purpose cleaning agent or detergent to your cloth and use it to clean the surface. Rinse the area after removing the stubborn stain.
For more persistent stains, rub the affected area with a scouring sponge and a multi-purpose cleaning agent. Cleaning agents with bleach are highly effective on tough stains, but make sure to rinse the surface thoroughly after use.
- Cimstone
Stubborn Stains
To remove stubborn materials like leftovers, chewing gum, nail polish, or dried paint, gently scrape the residue using a spatula. If any grey metal traces from the spatula remain, clean the surface with your regular cleaning agent and scouring sponge, then rinse thoroughly.
- Cimstone
Rust & Lime Stains
For rust and lime stains on your Çimstone counter, apply descaling and rust-removing agents directly to the stain, and be sure to rinse thoroughly at the end of the process.
While strong agents like Porçöz and Hydrochloric Acid have shown no impact on surfaces in 24-hour laboratory tests, we do not recommend using these products unless absolutely necessary.
- Cimstone
Cleaning products to avoid?
Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals such as:
Alkali-based products containing active hydroxide (e.g., drain cleaners)

- Compac
Precautions
Do not place Technological Quartz COMPAC in outdoors or anywhere subjected to intense solar radiation or in places where the product is exposed to UV-emitting lamps.
Do not apply any kind of sealant, waterproof, brightener, etc. These products will provide an artificial and short-lasting shine, removing the natural shine of Technological Quartz COMPAC. The use of these products may result in the loss of the warranty.
Avoid leaving standing water on the surface of the countertop (dish drainers, wet rags).
To avoid marks produced by cutting with knives, utensils or sharp tools, protect it using specific cutting boards.
Do not use strippers, caustic soda or products with a pH higher than 10 or with a chlorine base: oven cleaners, toilet cleaners, furniture waxes, oily soaps and products to unclog. Under no circumstances use products containing hydrofluoric acid or dichloromethane. If using bleach or solvent, always rinse with water and never leave them in contact with the surface for a long time. If some of these products are spilled, remove them as soon as possible with plenty of water and a neutral soap.
- Dekton
Routine care
Dekton worktops are simple to care for. To keep them looking their best over time, regularly clean using a non-abrasive sponge with soap and warm water. Alternatively, any pH-neutral all-purpose cleaner can be used for effective cleaning.

Routine care
To maintain the pristine condition of your Neolith countertop, follow these cleaning guidelines. Start by using a microfiber cloth to remove dust from the surface. If necessary, clean your Neolith countertop daily. Wash it with warm water and a manufacturer-recommended dose of detergent, avoiding products containing hydrofluoric acid and its derivatives.
Rinse with warm water and dry using a cloth or similar material. In case of spills, it is crucial to immediately dry them. Prompt cleaning and drying make stain removal easier. Avoid using waxes, oily soaps, impregnating agents, or hydro-oil repellents as they are unnecessary for Neolith. Some detergents available in the market contain waxes or polishing additives that may leave an oily film on the surface of Neolith after multiple washes.
- Neolith
Knives & edges
Special Caution for Ceramic Knives: Please note that ceramic knives have the potential to scratch the surface of Neolith, regardless of its finish, just like they can scratch other surfaces within the same product category or other categories.
Edges: Neolith is a remarkably durable material designed to resist stains, heat, UV rays, scratches, and more. However, it is important to exercise caution around the edges of a Neolith countertop, as with any product in the sintered category, to prevent heavy impacts that may lead to chipping.
TIP: Do not hit your Neolith countertop with a blunt and heavy objects. It could chip or even break (the edges are the most sensitive to physical damage).
TIP: During treatment, closely examine the spot. If the spot is still there, but is lighter or reduced, you know the treatment is working. Keep applying until the stain is completely gone.

Product Maintenance
Quartz composites are highly compact materials without porosity; as such they do not require oil-proofing or waterproofing treatments. They do not absorb liquids, odours or cooking fats. For this reason, they do not enable bacteria to multiply, they are resistant to acids and to stains from daily use, as well as scuffs, scratches and small knocks; they are also easy to clean, guaranteeing a high standard of hygiene.
Despite the material being resistant to high temperatures, it is advisable to protect it using table mats to avoid direct contact with the saucepan surfaces or utensils which have just been removed from the oven. In fact, direct contact with hot objects or flames could cause indelible marks due to the heating of the re
Although it is resistant to scuffs and scratches, to guarantee optimal conservation of its original appearance we advise that chopping boards should always be used.
It is furthermore advisable never to overload the work surfaces with weights exceeding 50 kg (never jump or sit on the top) and avoid dropping pointed or sharp objects on it (such as knives, bottles, pans, cooking utensils etc.) which, due to their shape, could cause chipping which would be difficult to fix.
