Yes, multipurpose cleaners are generally safe. Many contain alcohol, which helps remove soap residue and simplifies cleaning.

Prolonged exposure (over two hours) may cause a chemical reaction that stains the surface. These stains are permanent and are not covered under the Warranty, as stated in the maintenance manual.

We recommend CleanColorsil, a silicone and resin cleaner that protects and restores the surface. Apply it directly and rub with a cloth or sponge until the residue is removed.Other silicone and resin removers can be used as long as they do not compromise the integrity of Silestone.

• Dilute bleach in water (15% bleach solution) and rub on the stain with a damp cloth in a circular motion.
• Leave it to work for 2 minutes and then rinse. If the stain persists, repeat the process‍

• Apply an oxide cleaner and leave it to work for 5 minutes.
• Then rinse with water and dry.

• Apply an anti-limescale product to the affected area.
• Gently rub in a circular motion with a damp microfiber cloth.‍

Leave to work for a couple of minutes. Then, with a cloth, wipe off any soap residue. Finally, dry it with kitchen roll.

For tough spills, apply dish soap and scrub with a Scotch-Brite pad, then rinse with warm water. For dried residues like food, gum, nail polish, or paint, gently scrape them off with a blade or putty knife before cleaning the area with soap and water. Any marks left by the blade can be quickly removed with soap, water, or glass cooktop cleaner.

For stubborn stains, use Lithofin MN Stain Remover as needed, or occasionally CIF Cream—taking care on polished surfaces. Avoid excessive rubbing with CIF Cream and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Limescale marks from tap water can be removed with Lithofin KF Ceramic-Clean.

For daily maintenance, use Lithofin MN Easy-Clean. This 2-in-1 formula effectively removes greasy surface dirt while helping to preserve your worktop.

Consistent use will enhance your kitchen worktop’s durability and make upkeep effortless.

Clean the kitchen worktop regularly with Lithofin MN Power-Clean and then use Lithofin MN Easy-Clean again for daily maintenance.

Vadara is heat resistant but not heatproof. To prevent damage from sudden temperature changes, we strongly recommend using trivets or hot pads—especially with appliances like electric frying pans or slow cookers. Avoid placing hot cookware directly on the surface.

Avoid cutting directly on the surface, as this can leave behind metal marks from the knife. These marks are not scratches and can be removed by following the same procedure used for treating stubborn stains and spills. We highly recommend using a cutting board to protect the surface.

Do not apply sealers or polishes to your Vadara surface. They are not necessary and over time can make your surface appear dull and/or inconsistent.

Avoid exposing your Vadara surface to any of the following:

• Oven, grill, toilet bowl, furniture, or drain cleaners
• Paint and floor strippers, or tarnish removers
• Oil-based soaps and cleansers
• Battery acid or any other caustic substances

Immediately rinse the area with water if your surface is exposed to these types of products. Prolonged exposure may cause discoloration or damage to your surface.

Use a light or non-abrasive cleanser by applying it to a clean cotton cloth or paper towel, not directly onto the surface. Use a circular motion on the affected area, rinse and dry thoroughly.

The following cleansers are recommended for use on your Vadara surface with dried-on spills:

• Soft-Scrub® Gel with Bleach
• Bar Keepers Friend® Soft Cleanser
• Bar Keepers Friend® Spray and Foam Cleanser
• Windex® Vinegar Glass Cleaner

When using Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser powder, first apply it to a damp clean cloth or paper towel, then squeezing together several times to form a paste before applying to your surface.

To remove any adhered material such as food, gum or nail polish, start by scraping away the excess material with a plastic plastic putty knife. Clean any remaining residue with a damp cloth. Always thoroughly rinse off any soap or cleanser with hot water after cleaning and dry with a soft cloth or paper towel.

Use a mild dish soap, such as Dawn® Ultra Original Liquid Dish Soap or Windex® Vinegar Glass Cleaner for daily cleaning. You may also use a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water.

After cleaning, be sure to rinse your Vadara surface with warm water and dry with clean, cotton cloths or paper towels.
