Quartz Worktops

Quartz Worktops For All Purposes

What is Quartz? Quartz is one of the hardest minerals found on Earth. Quartz consists of silica, found widely in igneous and metamorphic rocks and typically occurring as colourless or white hexagonal prisms.

To start the process, Quartz is crushed into a fine sand which is then mixed with 3 to 7% polymer resin. The resulted mixture is then poured and set into slab frames. These engineered slabs are then polished and are ready for fabrication.

Quartz brands like Silestone, Caesarstone and Cimstone just to name a few. This man made surface is ideal for kitchen and bathroom worktops due to the features they provide such as anti scratch, heat resistant and non porous.

Silestone is a quartz surface that is treated and created to decorate today’s kitchens worktops and bathrooms in a range of colours, extraordinary textures, and high-quality performance.
